MARGAUX
Claire Villars Lurton was 25 when she took over the management of Châteaux Ferrière, Haut-Bages Libéral and La Gurgue. Over a number of years, she has undertaken a major rebuilding of all the wineries. La Gurgue is located on the north eastern flank of Margaux, on a beautiful plateau in Curton where there is deep gravel soil.
The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, from a 10-hectare vineyard that is certified organic and biodynamic (Demeter and Biodyvin).
