We worked with Domaine André Dezat for well over 40 years, starting with the magnificent André Dezat, then his two sons Louis and Simon. André Dezat’s Grandchildren decided to separate the domaine a few years ago. They both make delightful Sancerre red, white and rosé and superb Pouilly Fumé.
Firmin decided immediately to take things further, and convert to ‘Culture Biologique’, which has resulted in increases in his costs, harvesting all by hand and has put his price above his cousins. The whites are wines are fermented and aged in stainless. The reds are fermented in stainless steel and transferred to barrel for malolactic fermentation.
