DOMAINE TOUR CAMPANETS

A delightful property situated in the hills half an hour’s drive north of Aix-En-Provence. The charming Emmanuelle Baude was a lawyer who decided to go into winemaking. What an excellent career move! Her organic Rosé is quite delicious. A blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah from her 28 hectares of vines. Three hours skin contact gives a lovely pale rosé colour. On the palate it is dry (with less than 2 grammes of residual sugar) and has wonderful smooth, juicy fruit flavours.

We are delighted to have added two new cuvées to our list from this lovely property. The Esprit Rosé is a light fresh style but with good creamy fruit weight, made from 70% Grenache, 10% Counoise, 10% Cinsault and 10% Carignan. Terrific value for a Provence Rose.

The Bois des Fees Rosé is a fuller, richer style comprising 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon spending three months on the lees before bottling which imparts a delightful rounded texture. A top quality Rosé which is delicious on it’s own or pairs well with food , try with roast lamb. Great value for money at this quality level.
