Established on the island of Crete in 1966, the Lyrarakis family has devoted itself to the revival of indigenous, almost extinct, rare grape varieties such as Dafni, Plyto, Melissaki and others, vinifying wines that highlight their unique and distinctive character.
The Lyrarakis estate has spearheaded the explosion of interest in top Greek wines in the UK in recent years and are rightly found on many of the finest restaurant lists and at leading independent wine retailers.
