Philippe has tinkered with the blend over the years to achieve a fine equilibrium, and today the blend consists of 80% Malbec and 20% Merlot.
This intense wine combines local rusticity with everyday drinking and also ages well. We are delighted to see that our friends Kermit Lynch have represented Clos La Coutale in the USA for over 40 years!
