Damien and Florent Burle took over the running of the estate from their father in 2004. Florent manages the vineyards and Damien is responsible for the winemaking. Their style is rusticity at its best. There is no destemming and the wines have bags of fruit and guts.
“Les Fouilles” is 50% Grenache and 50% Syrah from a 1-hectare plot of 40-year-old vines situated at altitude near “Les Florets”. They also make a delicious Vin de Pays de Vaucluse with a fantastic ‘Burle Est-ce que’ label.
