This 10 hectare estate was founded in 1995, and now produces approximately 60,000 bottles of Reuilly per annum; 65% white, 20% red and 15% rosé (from Pinot Gris). The vines are planted on chalky-clay soils, and both vinification and aging are carried out in stainless steel.
The Sauvignon Blanc wine is kept on its lees, and these are stirred regularly. The wine is bottled in March.
Although delightfully lively when young, it will keep well for up to two years. The Pinot Noir is sorted in the vineyard during the harvest, and undergoes a cold maceration pre-fermentation. This very approachable wine may be kept for up to five years, although – given its generous dollop of bright, ripe fruit – we doubt that anyone will be able to resist it! Michel is the current president of the Syndicat Viticole de Reuilly.
